Canceling AOL

Good stuff, I really like this setup. I'm particularly interested in the Goldtouch split keyboard. I've been looking at ergo keyboards for a while (and I actually used one regularly at the old workplace). This one might fit the bill.
Oh, and yeah those Aerons are total Dot Com. This place that I was working at in mid 2000 had a total of maybe 30 employees and 6 Aerons for the execs. It got bought out, and as the old hires left and the new corporate workers replaced them, the Aerons "disappeared". I think by the time I left we were down to one.

Left to right I use the Apple Cinema Display 30" driven by a Quad G5, the Dell FPW2005 above a Wacom Cintiq 21UX pen screen both driven by a Dell XPS 600, and finally the Gateway CX200 TabletPC on which I have OneNote always running. I use one Goldtouch split keyboard with a Kensington ExpertMouse for all three computers and all four screens, thanks to the very cool Synergy software that lets me simply move the cursor seamlessly from each screen to the next (and even "cut'n'paste" between computers) as though they were all one computer.

pics.4show, I work at a streaming media network. I have three computers because I prefer Mac OS X (1) but have to use Windows XP (2) to make sure our software works for most people, while the TabletPC (3) is for business travel as well as to have a "paperless" office. On the TabletPC, placed where it's natural to take handwritten notes during phone calls, Microsoft's OneNote software recognizes my scribbles and indexes them so I can find notes quickly. The Cinema Display and Wacom tablet are for web design and photography.
sudoku, yep, it's a Herman Miller Aeron®, kept as a daily reminder of the dot-com bust. The desk, however, was built in the 1920s, with a hideaway/pop-out shelf for a typewriter. The top was originally leather but had deteriorated by the time I inherited it, so I cut a sheet of copper to size and hand-brushed it, then cut the piece of smoked glass to protect the copper.
I suspect that within the next 10 years we won't have to use "monitors" at all, but will be able to have our virtual desktops showing directly on our real desktops. I just wonder where we'll put all our tchotchkes.
